It was 1932. The country was in the throes of the depression.
Roosevelt, governor of NY, was elected President. He brought hope, optimism and a clear vision of hope to the Little Guy to the WH. His First Inaugural Address has a tremendous line.
"ALL WE HAVE TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF"
This is not just a line from 1932.
THIS IS THE LINE FOR TODAY
Bush and the repukeliscum are trying to sell America on the idea that we are in danger, we are threatened.
"ALL WE HAVE TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF"
We are in a conflict, but it should not be the excuse for the fasciscination of our society.
"ALL WE HAVE TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF"
We must view the future with optimism, not fear of others.
"ALL WE HAVE TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF"
We are not afraid.
"ALL WE HAVE TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF"
We are the Party of Optimism, the Party of the Future.
"ALL WE HAVE TO FEAR IS FEAR ITSELF"
We are Democrats.
